Much of the magic of Vanessa’s design and photographs - for the creation of film set interiors, modern home interiors and architecture - is that it’s hard to tell the difference from her art and the real thing. In either a photograph or model, from minute furnishings shot with the enormous 853-foot Transamerica Pyramid building in the background, to golden bathrooms in miniature, or the “Man who couldn’t walk on water” — all are seamlessly composed in perfect light and scale. It’s truly amazing the amount of detail in the works.
